New TGS Breed Verification Form

For suppliers to the JBS Australia Thousand Guineas Shorthorn Branded Beef program, there is a new statutory declaration form which needs to accompany the NVD form for Shorthorn cattle supplied into the premium market.

Thousand Guineas Shorthorn Beef is a truly unique product, with feedback from chefs and consumers constantly describing the creaminess of the fat, the wonderful flavour, the juiciness and tenderness as well as the tremendous consistency of the branded product.

To demonstrate the remarkable quality of the Thousand Guineas brand, Head Chef at The Original Coopers Alehouse, Chris Sellors, said “Nothing surpasses the Thousand Guineas product. In eighteen months, we have never had a single complaint regarding the eating quality of the Thousand Guineas brand.”

The breed verification statutory declaration is designed to assist to protect the integrity of the Thousand Guineas brand and the Shorthorn breeds reputation for delivering outstanding eating quality consistently.

Registered suppliers need to fill out the form, which allows them to describe breed content, and include the completed form with the NVD form for all loads supplied to JBS Australia feedlots for supply to the Thousand Guineas brand.
