NAGOL PARK WIN INTERBREED – TWICE

Nagol Park YZ Romance N148

Nagol Park Shorthorns, Tamworth, NSW, have had the honour of being awarded two consecutive Interbreed titles recently.

The first Interbeed title was awarded for Champion of Champions in the Five Star Creative Promotions Virtual Online Show, which received international attention.

The second title was the Supreme Exhibit in The Land 2020 Beef Battle, which also had a large national and international viewership.

Both online platforms were created in response to the closure of the Sydney Royal Easter Show due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Nagol Park Shorthorns have been long term exhibitors at the Sydney Royal Easter Show and whilst winning an Urquhart Trophy is always a tremendous thrill, the online virtual showing platform may have generated even more publicity.

The female the heart of the awards was Nagol Park YZ Romance N148, a daughter of Yamburgan Zeus K25, who Nagol Park purchased for $20,000 as a yearling bull.

Beef Battle 2020 Interbreed judge, Mr. John Manchee, commented “I don’t think you would see too much better example of a milking beef breed female. She is probably one of the best females you will see of any breed anywhere I believe,” he said.

Nagol Park have labeled YZ Romance N148 as one of the best they had ever bred and intend to move her into their donor pen, along with her mother, when she calves down for the second time in September.
